BIO

Holder of a Bachelor’s degree from ECAL and a Master’s degree from HEAD, my exhibitions extend across Europe and include solo exhibitions (Aargauer Kunsthaus and Salts in Switzerland, La plage or Artemis Fontana in Paris) as well as group exhibitions (Swiss Art Awards, Live In Your Head, Schinkel Pavillon, FRAC Normandie, Galerie High Art, Exo-Exo, Sanstitre, Hard Hat…). I have received numerous awards (BNP Paribas, Fondation Irène Raymond…) and taken part in international residencies (Istituto Svizzero in Rome, Fieldwork in Marfa, Texas, Mountain School of Art, Gleis 70 Zurich, SoArt in Austria…).
My practice is marked by a strong commitment to artistic creation and education. I teach at the Faculty of Visual Arts at Aix-Marseille University. As a curator, in 2018 I founded the artist-run space Artemis Fontana, operating as a mobile curatorial platform and a collaborative project with international artist communities. Since then, around one hundred artists, curators, editors, filmmakers, poets, and performers have taken part in this project. My objective is to study the relationship between minorities and craftsmanship, exploring how so-called “minor,” “vernacular,” or “craft” practices weave together a politics and an aesthetics of emancipation.

In Your Head, Schinkel Pavillon, FRAC Normandie, Galerie High Art, Exo-Exo, Sanstitre, Hard Hat…)
